Pitch Connect is a grassroots football networking platform that connects players and clubs across all age groups. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create an account we collect your email address, a password (stored securely and never in plain text), your display name, your county, and whether you are a player or a club.
When you post or save a listing we store the details you enter — position, age group, level, availability, previous clubs, experience and a short bio — and associate them with your account.
If you subscribe to Auto-Match we record your subscription status and process payment through our payment provider, Base44 Payments. We do not store your full card details.
We use your information to show your posts to other users, to match you with players or clubs based on the profile you set, to manage your subscription, and to keep the service secure.
Posts you publish are visible to other users of Pitch Connect so they can contact you. We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with our service providers (hosting and payments) as needed to run the platform, and where required by law.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your posts and your saved players. Subscription records are kept for accounting purposes where required.
Pitch Connect covers age groups from U7 upwards, but accounts must be created and managed by an adult — a parent, guardian, coach or club official — on behalf of younger players.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication and restricted access controls. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information.
You can view and update your profile information in Settings, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
